New Link with Zambia 27-5-2007, 4:17 PM At the recent AGMs, it was a agreed to link with a Church Mission Society partner, Liz Hosegood, who will shortly be going to Zambia to train Midwives. If you would like to meet Liz, she will be in the Benefice on Sunday 10 June, and will be saying something about herself at the service at St Mary\'s, Hanley Castle at 11.00am. Meeting Room at St Gabriel\'s 3-4-2007, 10:18 AM A lot of people have already taken the opportunity to look at the plans for the new facilities, and have been extremely positive about the design. The drawings are still on display at the back of the church if you have not yet had the chance to see them. Improvements to Church Buildings 18-1-2007, 10:33 AM In 2005, the south side of the roof at Hanley Swan Church was renewed, and in 2006 the wiring and lighting were replaced at Welland Church and the heating significantly improved. We are now looking at plans to create a community facility at Hanley Swan in the form of a meeting room, kitchen and toilet. In 2007 we also hope to improve the heating at Hanley Castle Church and to continue to investigate the possibilities of kitchen and toilet facilities at both Welland and Hanley Castle.
